Lindblom's FRC team, 1781, showed up to a Chicago Sky basketball game to demonstrate our previous robot for the game REEFSCAPE.

Saturday, September 6th, 2025

Lindblom hosts the 2025 FTC kickoff to reveal the new game Decode under FIRST's season AGE. Around 16 teams showed up to witness the unveiling together.

Friday-Saturday, September 26-27, 2025

1781 participated in the 2025 off-season event Windy City Windup. We fought hard but ended up getting knocked out in the finals.

1781 had the privilege of showing off our laboratory and robot to ABC 7 news. The alumni Cheryl Burton was gracious enough to highlight 1781 robotics in the news for all of Chicago to see.

Saturday, November 15th, 2025

Both Lindblom FTC teams Gold(23427) and Maroon(23428) Eagles competed in the FTC 1b qualifier. This event was very special because it was also hosted at Lindblom!

Lindblom hosted an FLL tournament that we also competed in. We fought hard and took home some awards while we were at it!

Both Lindblom FTC Gold and Maroon teams went out to compete in 2C Qualifier tournament at Chicago's Museum of Science and Industry. They fought hard and sharpened their talons for the upcomming battles.

The long awaited FRC kickoff arrived and excitement was at an all time high. Teams from all over Chicago gathered inside Lindblom's Keeler Hall to feast their eyes on the brand new Rebuilt game. We got to thinking and celebrated a brand new beginning.

Lindblom is always looking to spread our wings and branch out to make sure all students know about the opportunities that comes with the program. That's why we showcase our FRC and FTC robots at the Lindblom hosted Engineering Fair.

The FTC Qualifier A was a huge day for both teams as we walked away with many accolades. Both teams qualified for the state championships, the Maroon team won the Connect award, the Gold team got second place Inspire award, and a member walked away as a semi-finalist for the Leadership award! GO EAGLES!!!

Thursday, March 12th, 2026

The nerves were high for the 1781 Electric Eagles as we traveled to Finger Lakes, New York for our first competition of the season. Our hands weren't empty as we managed to win the Sustainability award. Overall, knowledge was gained, fun was had, and memories were made.

Wednesday, March 25th, 2026

1781's second competition was an improvement from the first. We made it to finals but that is where our run ended unfortunately. However, we were able to snag a Gracious Professionalism award, and we added another Leadership Award semi-finalist to our roster!

Saturday, May 9th, 2026

Lindblom robotics hosted the Harper Robotics CPS Showcase. It was a mix of FRC robots on display and an official FTC competition. It was a great turnout, and it was all possible through the mentors and students building out Harper to be shown to the world.
